The Youth Leadership Program includes a scholarship program to recruit full-time students (high school, undergraduate, and graduate) to attend the Women In Green Forum, a mentorship program, and the presentation of the Youth Trailblazer Award during the luncheon at the Forum.
Mentorship Program
The Mentorship Program connects established professionals with students looking to enter the environmental industry. Mentors and mentees will first meet at the Forum, where they will have an opportunity to connect throughout the day. With support from the Forum's team, participants will continue to develop their relationships during additional meetings throughout the following year. From coffee dates to networking events, the aim is for participants to increase their knowledge of the environmental industry, aid mentees in achieving their goals by providing them with real-world exposure and experience, offer both the mentor and mentee a fresh perspective, and promote women’s leadership across the environmental industry.
If you are a full-time student and interested in attending the Women In Green Forum, please complete a Youth Leadership Program Scholarship Application and submit your completed application by July 1, 2023.
Note: If you receive a scholarship, you are required to attend the Forum in August 2023. If you are unable to attend, you must notify us within 1 week of receiving your scholarship acceptance so we can offer your spot to someone on our wait-list.
